NEW Arrests, More Law Suits, Technology Updates, And New Shoes

Paris Hilton And Cy Waits: Arrested For DUI And Possession Of Controlled Substances
Paris Hilton and her new boyfriend, Cy Waits (Vegas night club mogul), were pulled over this past Friday at around 11:30pm in front of the Wynn Hotel on the Vegas strip. The officer (Lt. Wayne Holman) smelled the aroma of marijuana coming from the black Cadillac SUV which prompted the arrest of Cy Waits for DUI and Paris Hilton for possession of marijuana and cocaine. Paris willingly cooperated with the officers and handed them the small amount of controlled substances she had inside of her purse. She had cocaine inside of her lip balm and marijuana inside of the SUV - in plain site. Paris was sent to Clark County jail, where she was released on Saturday morning on her own recognizance. Paris was recently also arrested during the previous World Cup for possession of marijuana.

New York based fashion designer, Yigal Azrouel, has revealed to Daily Front Row that he will launch his own woman's shoe collection which will be debuting during the Spring 2011 season. iTunes: Rumored To Rent TV Shows For 99 Cents An Episode
According to multiple online sources, speculation is that Apple will start renting out TV episodes for 99 cents starting this Fall season. Each digital episode will be available for 48 hours after they are downloaded via iTunes. Apple has not confirmed anything yet and will not comment on speculation, however Apple will be hosting an event and invited all the media to attend in San Fransisco on September 1, 2010.


Facebook: Sues Teachbook For Using The Name "book"
A document obtained from Wire.com states a lawsuit was filed in the California District Court last Wednesday against Teachbook for "riding the coattails of the fame and enormous goodwill of the Facebook trademark". Facebook is accusing Teachbook of federal trademark delusion, trademark infringement, and unfair competition. Teachbook claims that Facebook is just bullying them because students and teachers are allowed to use Teachbook in schools, but are not allowed to use other online communities such as Facebook and Myspace.

Fired, Arrested For Possession, And Sued

DANIELLE STAUB TERMINATED

Danielle Staub will not not be returning for season 3 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Danielle Staub was not aware of this and was shocked to hear that she will not be returning for the new season. All The Scoop Media reported first a few weeks ago that Danielle was on the hunt for her own reality show. Days after the news became public, Danielle made a statement on Twitter: "I wasn't even thinking about season three, don't worry, next year I'll still be the one everyone loves to hate, or hates to love." Danielle Staub is saying she is looking forward to her own reality TV spin off.

Udonis Haslem Charged For Possession
This past Sunday, Florida Highway Patrol arrested Miami Heat professional basketball player, Udonis Haslem, for possession of marijuana after getting pulled over at a traffic stop. Udonis was pulled over because he was speeding in his Mercedes-Benz and had illegal widow tints. The cop instantly smelled the aroma of marijuana,confiscated less than a gram of marijuana and then arrested Udonis, he was later released that night.

Madonna Sued For Being A Material Girl
Madonna is being sued by apparel manufacturer LA Triumph over the rights to use the name "Material Girl" for the trendy junior clothing line that Madonna and her daughter Lourdes designed. According to CNN - LA Triumph claims that it has been using the name since 1997 for there retail brand and that Madonna does not have the right to use the name for her own clothing line - An attorney for LA Triumph said they face the "risk of being subsumed by Madonna's profile, obvious worldwide notoriety". Madonna or her representatives have not yet commented about this.
